Guilherme Rizzo Amaral Authors Article “Astrictions and the New Code of Civil Procedure” Published in the April Edition of REPRO – Revista de Processo

The study is designed to analyze the specific proposals of the commission elected to elaborate a new Code of Civil Procedure for the use of a periodic fine as a mechanism for implementing legal decisions. After establishing the real nature of the periodic fine (also called astrictions), the article presents the author’s proposal for the wording of the new legal provisions on the topic.

The article is also part of the collective works “Procedural Timeliness and Effectiveness: New Paths of Brazilian Civil Procedure,” published in honor of professor Elaine Harzheim Macedo.
